ABOUT THE ARLINGTON RESALE STORE

Arlington ReSale is DBA Arlington Pregnancy Centers, Inc.  We are a Christian non profit ministry that seeks to be “salt and light” in the greater Arlington community.  We offer a large selection of clothing, furniture, maternity and baby items, housewares, home decor, bedding, shoes, jewelry, purses, antiques, etc., at affordable prices. 

Arlington ReSale first opened its doors at 907 West Pioneer Parkway in September, 1997. Our goal was to meet the growing needs of our clientele at the Arlington Pregnancy Centers, offer material assistance to our clients and provide good useable household items for our community.  Out of a need to better serve the physical needs of mothers-to-be, as well as create additional space at the Arlington Pregnancy Center for Sonogram services, we opened our 3500 square feet store.  By September 2001, we were able to expand the Store to 7000 square feet and accommodate the rising donations and larger customer base.

Through God’s grace, in 2006, we were able to purchase a vacant Gold’s Gym and a Palm Beach Tan building at Interstate 20 West in SW Arlington with over 15,000 square feet of space.  After renovations, we excitedly opened this new location on October 4, 2006.

Arlington ReSale serves many purposes in our community.  One blessing is for women who have received a positive pregnancy test at one of the Arlington Pregnancy Centers to join the Baby Club.  After watching parenting videos she is eligible to receive a monthly $20 gift certificate to Arlington Resale with a $5.00 purchase.  The gift certificate can be used for any item that helps with her pregnancy, ranging from clothing to baby beds.  When available she receives 12 diapers and formula with each gift certificate.

Sandy Hardy has been store manager since 1998.  Sandy says, “I feel God lead me here because I did not have retail experience. He has blessed me and has given me something I truly love to do!  So come in and bring your good donations and shop. You will be blessed too!”
